Greg Hollowell, also known as Gregbob, has been playing sax since 1992. Greg has performed with the Booty Band ever since their humble beginning in August 2002. He studied saxophone performance at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI from 1998 – 2001.

With the help of Derrick Johnson, Greg founded Asheville Horns in 2007 after receiving requests from several different artists to record horn tracks on their studio albums. Greg has recorded and performed with various artists over the years including Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Asheville Horns, George Clinton, the Dirty Dozen Horns, Garry “Star Child” Shider, members of Galactic, The Big Ol’ Nasty Getdown, GFE, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, Josh Phillips Folk Festival, Laura Reed & Deep Pocket, Sidney Barnes, Belita Woods, Eymarel, Aaron “Woody” Wood, Snake Oil Medicine Show, Terrence Higgins, Donna the Buffalo, Scythian, Sci Fi, members of the Lee Boys, members of Dumpstaphunk, Telepath, Tennessee Jed, the Blue Rags, and Menage.
