Taping Policy

Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band actively encourages the taping and trading of our live performances. All taping is limited to audience taping only. No soundboard patches will be given unless granted permission by the band before, or, at the show. The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at a concert always takes precedence over recording efforts. This means that at no time should tapers ever require other patrons to be quiet or otherwise interfere with their enjoyment of the show.

When Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band are performing at a festival or other event featuring multiple bands, that particular event’s policy may override Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band’s customary taping policy. When Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band is opening for another artist, that particular artist’s policy may also override the bands normal taping policy.

All participants in audio recording exchange acknowledge and respect the copyrights and exclusive ownership of the music and performances by the performers, writers and publishers. If we, at any time, choose to offer for sale (via physical media) a particular Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band performance, this “Official” version will take precedence over amateur recordings and said performance should no longer be traded. In no case may any officially released Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band recording (live or studio) be duplicated or otherwise traded or offered.

All Audience Taping at Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band concerts is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized sale, duplication and / or distribution are strictly forbidden. All Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band. All rights reserved. The rights to record Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band performances set forth in this policy constitute and express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading and / or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
